Simple Green review and giveaway!!! CLOSED

One of today's biggest concerns is keeping our environment safe. For over 30 years simple green has kept our environment in mind by creating cleaning products that are non-toxic and biodegradable. Simple Green products are not only safe for your family and environment, but their products are made to to do their job at perfection. I got to put Simple Green to the test.

The Review:
Simple Green generously sent me a large box of cleaning supplies. By looking through Simple Greens site you will be able to see how many eco-friendly products they have available for you. My biggest worry before trying any cleaning product is how well they will work. It seems many cleaning products leave streaks or have very strong smells. I was relieved to see that the multi-surface cleaner cleaned wonderfully. I actually felt it cleaned better then my other multi-cleaner product. It took all water marks off of my granite and I honestly loved the smell. by the way, I had the (lemon verbena) scent. It smells fresh and more natural then other products I have used. Another product I have used often is the dish washing liquid, which cleans my pots and pans very well. The smell was maybe a little stronger then most dish soaps, which is probably my only complaint.

The other product I was actually thinking I wouldn't use in time for the review, but did twice, was the carpet cleaner. As a mom, we are constantly cleaning spells and stains left behind from our kids. I try hard to keep those stains off of my carpet, but this last week things didn't go too well. My little girl who has entered into the terrible two's snuck juice into the living room and emptied it all over the carpet. She also covered herself in juice, which put me to bathing duty and my husband to getting those stains out of the carpet. As I ran her to the tub, I yelled to my husband to use the Simple Green carpet cleaner. When I came out to check on the results I couldn't even tell where the spill was (except for where it needed to dry). Now that it's all dried you can't even see a mark. My husband was pleased with the results as well.

Overall I was very happy with Simple Green products. They clean as well if not better then other cleaners. Best of all I love how none of their products use ammonia or bleach, which sometimes over powers a fresh smell. Most importantly has to be Simply Greens focus of being environmental friendly. Several of their products have receiving the Green Seal Certification. The Green Seal certifies that Simple Green Naturals products have met product-specific performance requirements (i.e., they actually must work!), product-specific health and environmental requirements. You can read more on this under Simple Greens "press release" tab.

The Giveaway:
One person will win a box full of Simple Green Natural products. This is not just a few cleaning product, you will receive one of Most of their products including dish soap, carpet cleaner, window cleaner, multi-purpose cleaner, hand soap and more from what's available.

I love that the Simple Green Naturals Carpet Care Cleaner is completely non-toxic and safe to use around my kids. I have a three-year-old, a two-year-old, and a one-year-old, and it is crucial that my carpet cleaner be something that is not going to harm my kids, either short-term(illness, allergies) or long-term (cancer).

One of the things that I do to help the environment is to be conscious of what I put down the drain. That means I dispose of nothing that I wouldn't mind ending up in my drinking water someday. Also, when it comes time to get rid of chemicals that we have purchased prior to being "green", we take the time and effort to dispose of them properly rather than just dumping them in the trash.

We do everything that we can to help the environment!

We recycle every bit of plastic, paper, glass and metal that can be recycled.

We wash only in cold water and only when we have full loads.

We turn off water when brushing our teeth; we have shorter showers and we water our plants with cooled down veggie water!

We use reuseable bags for all of our shopping! (make sure you wash the bags once in a while as bacteria from foods can add up)

We walk when we don't have to drive.

We really don't use the heat in the winter; we prefer to get cozy under blankets and wear sweaters (its a lot cheaper!)

Thanks

I am really interested in trying the Simple Green Naturals Multi Surface Care!
Simple Green Naturals Multi-Surface Care is water based. It contains plant based surfactants that penetrate oily soils. An alkaline mineral “builder” increases the alkalinity of the formula so that it works better at removing organic soils such as food and oils. It also contains a preservative derived from chicory root that keeps the ingredients fresh and longer-lasting. The scent comes from extracts and essential oils of lemongrass, citrus, tonka resin, armoise essence, bois de rose, citral, litsea cubeba, geraniol palmrose, lavender, rosemary, thyme and soybean oils that provide a fresh scent without phthalates.

Sounds like a product I could use in the kitchen or Bath!!
many thanks for the chance to win!!

There is no recycling available in our very rural county in Montana. There is a group in our town trying to get a center set up where people can bring paper, glass, plastic, and cans so that it can be hauled to the recycling center that is 85 miles away. We were working with that group before we had to leave for another state(job), but will jump back in as soon as we get back home.
