The Sound of Music "Mega Review" and Giveaway!!! CLOSED

As I have mentioned before in the past, I love music and I love theater. Growing up I involved myself in these things. My very first musical production I played Leisl in "The Sound of Music". This is such a classic and one I hold very close to my heart. I love the story and especially the music. This is one musical I have already shared with my own children.

I was recently contacted about doing a review on the "50th Anniversary Special Edition of the Original Cast Recording: The Sound Of Music along with Simon & Schuster’s The Sound of Music Pop up Book. Even though I wasn't going to do anymore reviews the rest of the year, I just couldn't pass this one up. I and several other Classy Closet members on The Classy Closet review panel were included on this review.




Review:
The original cast recording was fantastic. My children love the music, although I already knew they would. It is great to have these songs I grew up with, in my home to share with my children. What my absolute favorite product is though, is The Sound of Music: Pop-Up Collectible Book. My children love the pages and the beautiful pop ups included. Each page also includes smaller pages with even more pop-ups. You can also find the words included to the songs, so that you can sing along with the cd. My children and I have loved reading this book and singing the songs together. I would love to get a copy for my mom who also loves The Sound of Music.
