VGNO and Giveaways around the Bloggersphere!

Once again Friday is here. I am so excited for this weekend. I don't know what it is, but holidays always seem to calm me down and make me feel like I can sit back, relax and enjoy being together as a family. I love my family and I especially enjoy special evenst and holidays that help create memories with them. Today we are going to make Easter Eggs with a few nieghborhood kids and later go to the Grandparents for an Easter Egg hunt and food. Tomorrow we will start off with a city Easter Egg Hunt and then head over to the our other Grandparents for yet another Easter Egg hunt. I think I am as excited as the kids!

Go over and Check Ann's Virtual GIrls Night Out. Todays VGNO Q. is "What is the Easter candy you MUST have"? For me, it has got to be those peeps. I love them. In fact my mother in law sometimes saves some just for me because she knows how much I love them. We will see if she remembers this year. ;o)

If your visiting "Catch the Drift..." add you giveaways and go check out some of the others around the Bloggersphere. Well I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and Happy Easter.

Slim Perfect Review and Giveaway!

So let's be honest with ourselves, "How hard is it really to find activewear we really feel comfortable in?". Of course we want something that is easy to move in and covers our areas that we may feel needs some tucking in. But we don't want something that covers us so much we can't breath or too tight that it makes you feel uncomfortable and makes those extra rolls of skin hang over where it shouldn't. Same goes for swimsuits!
I had the opportunity to review Slim Perfect Swimwear and Activewear. I decided on the SlimSkirt and the Tankini. All of their pieces are designed to compliment every body type. Because of my short waist, I tend to carry all my weight in my belly, so anything that says it will hide those extra pounds I'll try. When I received my package my mom was over visiting. I decided to try it on for her and see what her opinion was. Both my mom and I loved how both pieces looked. The Tankini had a tummy tamer lining inside which really does help hold and support you. There is also gel-bra cups which I was sure would make me look way to huge on my already busty top. I planned on taking them out right away since they can be removed from the sewn in pockets. I tried it on with them anyway and guess what? My saggy mommy breast looked perky and young again. These defiantly worked how they were suppose to. They are staying in!
I truly recommend Slim Perfect. I absolutely love how their pieces are versatile. I have used my Slim Perfect attire for both the gym and swimming. They have worked wonderfully for both. Slim Perfect's activewear and swimwear is made in the USA and it's sizes run from 8-18.

Easter Craft Ideas.

Easter is just around the corner and I feel so bad I never got any crafts or fun ideas up to share. This month and next are some of my busiest months this year. Well, it does seem like I get a lot of those months??? Well it really is and I have several projects I am trying to keep up with along the way so I hope I start getting some moments like this where I can hurry and post some fun things for you. Here are some fun crafts I wish I would have done or am planning on doing with my kids this weekend. Enjoy!

This Chick Card is very easy for all ages and not that messy.

Look what I found. These wonderful instructions on how to make a fabric Easter Basket at dabbled. I love this site it has lots of fun ideas. I totally want one of these so by next year I am going to make one or order one from our favorite Etsy shop LaDesign2.

Present you Easter Eggs to the Eggstreme! I have started seeing several ideas using toddler socks. At first I was like, "Gross", but it is starting to grow on me. Then I saw these cute one's at Parents. Here is the instructions.

Parents also offered instructions for these adorable eggs. If you are able to do your egg hunt out doors imagine how fun the kids will have looking for these fun creatures.

Last is these cute name holders. I imagine they may take a while so maybe use cotton balls instead. But I love the idea.

Oliver's Labels Review and Discount with Code!!!

I am constantly losing my children's items. I think one of the biggest problems is that it seems every child has the same bottles, sippi cups, not to mention every four year old boy out there loves Spiderman and has Spiderman paraphernalia. I have tried permenant markers; which comes off in the dishwasher and smear in the washing machine and I have tried stickers which I hate picking off later and tend to leave a mess if I forget and throw in the dish washer.
I am so glad I finally got my hands on some labels form "Oliver's Labels". I got the Original Labels which you can use on items that go in the dishwasher, microwave, fridge or outdoors. I have put my kids sippi cups in the dishwasher several times and the labels are still bold, bright and haven't moved an inch. I love them and my son especially loves them since he got to choose the design for them. Oliver's Labels full color printing process allows them to print your labels in a variety of bright and colorful designs. There is no trick to putting them on, you just remove them from their sheet and place them on the item you want to label. Below is some more information on the "Original Labels" from Oliver's Labels.

Kid Uses: School stuff, camp stuff, sippy cups, bottles, toys, food containers, electronics, baseball caps, lunch boxes and sports equipment.

Adult Uses: Laptop, MP3 player, tote bag, water bottle and cell phone.

Oliver Labels also provides labels for clothing and shoes. You can select from the Iron-on or Stick-eez Clothing Labels (which require no ironing). If you have luggage and need some tags, Oliver's Labels can make you your own personalized tags.

So now you may say to yourself, "What if I lose my item with the label, but prefer to not include personal information? What then?". Well, Oliver's Labels has a Found It Tracking System which will provide your labels with a code. If someone finds your item they can go to Oliver's Labels found page, which is on the bottom of the label. They can then type in the 9-digit code which is linked to your email. Oliver’s Labels acts as an intermediary between you and the finder so you never have to share any of your personal information! This is an option you can select when you order your labels. Click here to learn more!

SPECIAL DISCOUNT: Oliver's Labels is giving a special 10% discount off "Catch the Drift..." readers purchase. This will run until the end of May.

ProActive Parenting giveaway! ($149.95 value)

I love being a mother. I love watching my children grow and I especially love how they make me laugh. They are such a joy to be around... There are some days though when I feel exhausted. These are not the days my kids are happy, listening and minding. These are the days that I feel I have no control over them, I start to feel lost and uncertain about my parenting. I will admit, l have so much to learn and I know I have much to work on.

Well this giveaway is for all you parents who feel similar (I know I am not the only one). I want to introduce you to ProActive Parenting. ProActive Parenting is dedicated to helping parents raise children, not just correct behavior. They offer several Parenting seminars on MP3 audio that you download to your computer, to your iPod, or MP3 player or burn a CD . This allows you to be able to listen at your own convenience and during your busy schedule. They must know parenting when they know that trying to find a minute to sit down to read is nearly impossibly. When you purchase any of their seminars you will also receive a monthly newsletter, a collection of tips, and stories from Sharon, the Mommie Mentor and others, as well as great resources that can help you with your daily life and all you have on your plate.
ProActive Parenting offers a seminar on age appropriate time-outs and seminars on teaching parents how to create
a change in behavior in everyday life events of a toddler or preschooler. Some of these include whining, siblings, interrupting, yelling and more. Although Proactive Parenting focuses on toddlers and preschoolers, their teachings can help you with older children and for years to come.

I would love to get my hands on my own copy one of these seminars. Well actually I would love to get my hands on all of these seminars. Well, one of you are going to win just that, a free download of the entire series, The Everyday Solution Series. This is all 10 seminars and a $149.95 value!
