Guidecraft Doll Furniture review & giveaway! CLOSED
I recently had the privilege to work with Guidecraft. If you are a grandparent or parent you are going to love this store. While looking through Guidecrafts online catalog I couldn't help but notice the quality and variety of all of their toys and crafts. As we all know looks can sometimes be deceiving, especially when you are looking at something over the internet. However, after my experience with Guidecraft I assure you that what you see is what you get if not, BETTER!
I have a little girl who like most little girls loves dolls. We are in the process of collecting Doll Furniture for and what I have seen in the stores I have not been impressed with. We have collected some furniture but most of which that is already falling apart. When my daughter and I searched through the selection of Doll Furniture at Guidecraft I could tell she was in heaven. She selected the Doll High Chair (Expresso).
We received the package in great condition and ready to assemble.
There was a good amount of pieces but overall it was very easy to follow the given instructions. Everything was included except for a screwdriver which I imagine everyone owns at least one.
Within no time the project was completed and my daughters baby dolls had a new high chair. It is beautiful and made very well. Most important it is safe and sturdy. I know that my daughter will be safe while playing with it and it isn't going get destroyed after a lot of use. This Baby Doll High Chair is going to last unlike some of my daughters other toys.

Story Time For Me review and FREE books offer!!!
Reading is a huge focus in our home. My husband and I feel reading is so important for our children's future (we basically began reading to them while in the womb ;0). Both of us realize that unless you enjoy reading you will not be doing much of it. So as a mom I have tried to find ways to teach my children that reading is fun. I feel the best way to start is by using picture books so that they can begin to realize how to use their own imaginations. Even better is if you can find a way to really make the story come alive right before your child eyes.
Story Time For Me can help books come to life for your child as well as help them read as they listen to the stories. "Story Time For Me" includes professionally narrated children's books with fun animated pictures. Your child can easily follow the highlighted words while listening to sounds effects, and click on words. This is a wonderful site to help get your child interested in reading. There are several children's stories to choose from
My children have gone through the website with me and checked out the sample books available on the site. It has been a great way to point out familiar words to my son who is beginning to read. He has also enjoyed trying to say some of the words on his own and then clicking on the word to see if he got it right. As for my youngest, she really enjoys all of the animations.
FREE BOOKS:
All Catch the Drift... followers can receive 2 or 10 FREE books ($24 value). Here is all you have to do....
To earn 2 storybooks:
1. email Andrew at andrew@storytimeforme.com stating you want 2 Books: Referred by Catch the Drift...
2. Include in the email your first and last name, email address, child's first name and birth date (If you have more than one child just select the child you feel will enjoy this program the most)
3. You will then receive an email confirmation from info@StoryTimeMe.com within 1 business day. (You may want to add that email to your address book and white-list so you are sure to receive the email)
To earn 10 storybooks (Retail $24):
Visit www.StoryTimeForMe.com/10, save the word document and fill it out. As you can see from the form, they just have to refer 10 ‘unique’ friends that have not yet registered at Story Time For Me. For anyone with a child in the 1-8 age range. HOWEVER, Story Time For Me does ask that you actually contact your friends and ask if they want to participate. It only counts if indeed they follow through with the email verification.
Either way check out Story Time For Me and learn more about what they have to offer. You can also want to "like" Story Time For Me on their Facebook page.

CALLING all Halloween Ideas!
My favorite holiday of the year is Halloween. I love the costumes, parties and of course the candy! For those of you who also enjoy this crazy day (or should I say month), I would love to hear about some of your most haunting creations from years past. Even better if you have pics to share....
So if you have any great costume ideas, treat handouts, children crafts, party and/or spooky decorating ideas PLEASE SHARE! If you have some of these already posted on your blog then just email me the link to hail2thesnowqueen (at) gmail (dot) com. Put in the Subject "Catch the Drift.. Halloween". I will then post a pic and short description of your idea. I will then send my readers to your site for further details and instructions. If you do not have a blog, but a great idea just email it to me and I will put it together on a post.
Hopefully in the next week or two I can round some fun things up.
(One of my favorite things to do each year is carve a 3-D pumpkin and if time is available paint one as well using acrylics. I include more details on this further in the month. This will give you all something to look forward to.)
