The Slanket Giveaway CLOSED (Christmas Gift Guide)

Photobucket

Many of you have seen it or heard of it's competitors, but nothing compares to the "Original Slanket"! How would I know? Well I own one of course!

Last year I got my hands on my very own Slanket, although my husband laughed at the look, he couldn't complain about the comfort and the quality of the Slanket. After many washings, my Slanket is still soft and comfortable. This is unlike Slankets competitors products who uses material that won't last through a washing or two. Trust me when I say, "I have seen and compared"!

With the Christmas season being the time of year you like to snuggle close the fire with a warm cup of coco and a nice warm blanket, I find there no other better gift idea than the Slanket. Foe those of you who love blankets or know those who do, this will be the perfect gift for them.... or yourself.

The Slanket comes in a variety of colors and patterns. You can also find Slankets for two people, kids and traveling. If you are considering purchasing multiple Slankets you can also get FREE SHIPPING of orders over $100.

We watch 'It's a Wonderful Life' while we wrap Christmas presents on Christmas Eve. We all know many of the lines from the movie and say them along with the characters as we measure, cut, fold and tape. It's really one of my favorite holiday traditions!

Our favorite tradition is definitely putting up the tree and decorating it. We reflect on what has happened over the last year. And then taking the tree down and putting away the ornaments we talk about what was special over the holidays and what our plans are for the next year.

Oh Christmas day the eldest member of the family always delivers the blessing before we eat. It is a very special time when we think over the past year, what we are thankful for and the year to come.

My favorite holiday tradition is sending out Christmas cards. Although sometimes bittersweet as the older I get friends and family members pass on, it is also a joy as learning of new additions to add to the list.

Every Christmas I hang a piece of jewelry on the Christmas tree for my wife and daughter. I also hang keychains for all the little kids. I never say anything, I just wait till they find them. A couple of years there were surprises found while we were taking down the tree.

My favorite tradition at the holidays is when the whole family gathers at my folks house for Christmas dinner. Fortunately nobody lives to far away. We all get together for all the holidays, but Christmas is the best.

Last year we lost 3 of our elders in our family, so right now I can't think of a favorite tradition because they just won't be the same anymore. I think just being with family and sharing memories and good times will be the best we can do.

Thank you,
