Flirty Aprons review and giveaway!
One of my favorite parts about the holidays is the food. I always look forward to big family meals and making delicious treats for neighbors. With all this food on my mind I realize I will be spending allot of my time in the kitchen. I have to admit that this part doesn't excite me as much as eating all the food does. However, if I am going to slave away cooking this season, I might as well do it in style.
This Months Discount:
Flirty Aprons adds to the fun of cooking with their stylish aprons. They also offer a variety of aprons for women, men and children. Since cooking with mommy is a great activity for mothers and daughters, Flirty Aprons also has matching aprons. Right now when you purchase a Women's Original apron, you can also get any Girl's Original apron for 40% off regular price. Just use the coupon code TOGETHER. You can find sales like this and more throughout the whole year on Flirty Aprons site.
Review:
Flirty Aprons offered me a free apron of my choice to review. I loved being able to look through all of their aprons. They have a great selection. I chose the "Scarlet Blossom Apron". This apron is absolutely beautiful. I love the design and colors. The apron fits great and is said to fit all sizes. I was also very impressed with the make and quality of the apron.

Sassy Black is my choice.
For holiday gifts we love to "can" quick breads - bake them in a jar and seal them. 1/2 pints are cute and go in a basket with other goodies, and are a great size for 1 or 2. We have a lot of elder couples we give to. Also this is a great gift for our young daughter to give. Something she can make.
I love them all, but I'd have to say that the Women's Original Chic Pink Apron is probably my favorite!

2 teaspoons bread machine yeast
1/2 cup chopped dried mixed fruit
Place all of the ingredients except for the mixed fruit into the pan of your bread machine in order directed by manufacturer. I love to make peanut butter fudge for friends and family.
I love the cocoa lime apron!
The treat I love to bake for neighbors and friends is cake balls. They taste like delicious truffles, but are so much easier!
Bake a box of cake mix according to directions. Let it cool about 5 minutes. While it is still hot, crumble the cake into a clean mixing bowl. Mix in a container of frosting. Stir until it forms a mushy mixture. Cool in the fridge for about an hour. Form balls of the cake/frosting mixture. Let them set in the freezer about 30 minutes. Dip in melted chocolate.
This recipe is great and can easily make several different flavors of "candy."
