You will begin to notice a lack of post these next few weeks as I take time off to be with family. I am so excited for this holiday season. We have had a very busy year, actually this week isn't going to be any different with two family weddings, two family Christmas parties and Christmas next week. Seriously, I am so in need of a break ;0)
A reminder that the "Block it Designs" giveaway will be ending Friday Night (12/18). There is also a new giveaway for all of you who have grown up with "The Sound of Music".
Now for giveaways around the Bloggersphere. Be safe and Happy Holidays!!!
As I have mentioned before in the past, I love music and I love theater. Growing up I involved myself in these things. My very first musical production I played Leisl in "The Sound of Music". This is such a classic and one I hold very close to my heart. I love the story and especially the music. This is one musical I have already shared with my own children.
I was recently contacted about doing a review on the "50th Anniversary Special Edition of the Original Cast Recording: The Sound Of Music along with Simon & Schuster’s The Sound of Music Pop up Book. Even though I wasn't going to do anymore reviews the rest of the year, I just couldn't pass this one up. I and several other Classy Closet members on The Classy Closet review panel were included on this review.
Review: The original cast recording was fantastic. My children love the music, although I already knew they would. It is great to have these songs I grew up with, in my home to share with my children. What my absolute favorite product is though, is The Sound of Music: Pop-Up Collectible Book. My children love the pages and the beautiful pop ups included. Each page also includes smaller pages with even more pop-ups. You can also find the words included to the songs, so that you can sing along with the cd. My children and I have loved reading this book and singing the songs together. I would love to get a copy for my mom who also loves The Sound of Music.
To Buy: You can purchase The Original Cast Recording on Amazon Here and The Pop-Up Book Here.
There is also a Sound of Music Sing-Along Activity Kit you and your children can enjoy together here!
Giveaway: One lucky person will win their own copy of The Sound of Music Original Cast Recording cd!
To Enter: Name Five of Maria's Favorite Things! This is one of the many fun questions and activities you and your child can find in The Sound Of Music Sing-Along Kit!

Update on the adorable Block It Designs "Nativity Scene Block Set". This Nativity Scene is no longer on Etsy, but can be purchased through Block It Designs blog by email and PayPal.
So if you have some time from your busy schedules this season, take the time to enter some of these great giveaways. Be sure to check out the current giveaways going on here at "Catch the Drift with Mama Snow" above. I also just wanted to remind everyone of the Block It Designs giveaway. Although this isn't the item we will be giving away, the Nativity Scene Block Set is worth checking out. In fact the Block It Designs artist is sending me my own set free. I am so excited.
My sister in law was saying how fun it would be to use these Nativity Block Sets as a twelve day of Christmas gift idea. Since there are twelve blocks representing the people at the nativity scene, you could give them a new block each night. Then on the twelfth night send them the baby Jesus. I love this idea!!! She also said how fun it would be for me to set up the stable and each day before Christmas have my children take out a new block to place out by the stable. When placing the block, each night we could share a short story that represents each person in the nativity scene.
Be sure to check the giveaway out. There are several items worth having from "Block It Designs" and all handmade!
