(CLOSED) Christmas Gift Guide Review/Giveaway: Elfing Around

This is one of our family's favorite traditions during the Christmas season. Actually last year was the first year we invited two elves from the North Pole, AKA Elfing Around, to our home. My children are still talking about the elves and waiting for their next visit this December.

About the visit:
One December morning my children woke up to find two little visitors under the Christmas tree. The elves came with a letter for each child introducing themselves and the importance of their visit. My children welcomed the elves with opened arms. Each night my children would place the elves under the tree and in the morning we would all run to see what mischief the two elves created. One morning we woke up with large marshmallows everywhere (the elves had a snowball fight) and another morning we woke up with underwear all over the tree since the elves took it as part of their duty to decorate our tree extra special.

My children were very sad Christmas Eve night when they had to say goodbye to their new friends. However, on several holidays and around the time of the children's birthdays the elves send each of them postcards. The magic of the elves still continued throughout the year.

Buy It:

I love this idea!
We do 25 days of Christmas where we open a book, vhs or DVD that I wrap and put in a basket. We watch or read a christmas something every night.
This would be great to add. I love that there are 12 nightly adventures. This will totally add to our rituals.

I like that "The Elfing Around® elves are based mostly on Norwegian traditions"

Storm, The Psychotic Housewife said...

I think the “Letter Regarding Your Elf” in an “official” envelope that arrives just before the Elf is pretty cool!

The folklore or “tradition” of mischievous, magical Christmas elves has roots in many different countries. Our magical elves are based mostly on the Norwegian elf tradition.

I like the coloring pages.
