"Scrap-e-blog" FREE backgrounds and a giveaway!!! (CLOSED)

Obviously I love blogging. I not only have my Catch the Drift... blog, but I also have a personal family blog that I struggle to keep up with. When it comes to my family blog I get tired of my backgrounds very quickly. I am constantly looking for new backgrounds that may help freshen the place up. There really are only two sites I turn to when I am wanting to change things up, but now I have a third. I can almost guarantee that every blogger is going to love "Scrap-e-blog". Scrap-e-blog not only has several cute and stylish backgrounds, but they are all FREE. We all love FREE! Here is a little bit about the owner and how she got started.

"Most of My name is Cori. I started this page to share my blogger backgrounds with everyone! When I got into blogging I wanted my page to look like a 3D scrapbook page, so I keep my designs along those lines. I eventually want to start selling cute/cheap Digital Scrapbooking Kits! I hope you enjoy the site, and please let me know if you ever have any troubles. My goal is to help you make your page as special and unique in the easiest way possible!

The header can include any title, names or up to 2 pictures of their choice. I am a little bummed I can't enter myself. (Scrap-e-blog only does backgrounds and headers for Blogger only!!!)

Utah Fallen Heroes Scholarship Award Ceremony and Black Tie Dinner

The Utah Fallen Hereos scholarship program is hosting a black tie dinner and awards ceremony Saturday, July 11 from 6-9pm in honor of our fire fighters in Utah. At this event you will also be entertained by Utah's very own Peter Breinholt. 20 scholarships will be awarded to the family members of fire fighters. Information is as follows:

at the Park City Marriot

Tickets are $50 per person.

So it is going around in the blog world that Old Navy will be selling their flag tees for $1 on Friday July 3, 2009. I haven't found anything on Old navy's site yet, but it sounds like something Old Navy would do. Be on the look out. This is something I am defiantly going to try to get.
