DANU Hair Care Review and Giveaway!!! CLOSED

"When two salon-owning mothers were awakened to the caustic nature of the hair products they used every day—damaging to the environment and potentially even to people—they embarked on a mission to develop a better-performing, safer, natural line of products".

DANU hair care products; specially-formulated to outperform leading products on all hair types including serious protection for color-treated hair. All DANU products are dye, paraben and sulfate-free, made of ingredients that heal, protect and nourish hair naturally.

Review:
I have to be honest when I say I first feel in love with Danu's product names. Who wouldn't get a hit out of their volumizing shampoo/conditioner being called "Mother Fluffer"? However, I learned soon enough that their was much more to these products than their names.

I have been using the "Mother Fluffer" shampoo/conditioner and the "Multitasker" leave in hydrovolumizer for over 3 weeks now. There has been huge difference in the softness and look of my hair. I feel as if my hair has gotten a second chance at life. My hair is looking much more healthy and holds up a lot longer. I have also noticed that the Multitasker has done a great job at detangling and all it takes is a few spays. I am a firm believer that these two working moms have accomplished their goal of finding a great and natural hair product.

My "beauty" secret is shea butter for my skin ... it's great, easy to use, goes a LONG ways (so it's economical), heals skin and is appropriate for all skin types and areas. It's brilliant!

One word of caution, though ... get organic, pure shea butter ... the "knock-offs" don't have the healing benefits.

A hair tip of mine... whenever I have the extra time ... I massage conditioner into my hair, pile it on top with a hairpin and place on a shower cap... I sleep with the conditioner in my hair through the night, then shower and wash it out the next morning. This really does help treat my hair A LOT!

My hair tends to always be on the dry side since moving to southern AZ so the "Moisture Mama" series would be best for me.
