Bake Me A Wish review and giveaway!!! (CLOSED)

I heard about "Bake Me A Wish" a while back. I was very interested as to how it all worked and if the cake would even be edible by delivery. I contacted them in hopes to work with them on a review and finally I got my chance. Although I was a bit skeptical, I knew if everything went how Bake Me A Wish said, that this could be a wonderful resource for those who have loved ones far from home.

What is Bake Me A Wish?
Bake Me A Wish can Bake and send a cake to that special someone on any occasion. For many of us, we live apart from those we love and/or are close to. Maybe you have a son or daughter who went away to school and you are wondering how you can still surprise them with something special for Easter. Review:
With Easter coming up, Bake Me A Wish sent my family and I the Chocolate Mousse Torte. I am a huge chocolate fan and knew this would be the perfect cake for me to test out. I was told I would be receiving my cake on Wed. and sure enough, the cake was delivered on time! The box was marked to let the delivery man know how to handle it. Once I opened the box I noticed the careful thought that was put into packaging. There was a separate styrofoam box with a lid and inside that was a was an ice pack. The ice pack was still frozen and the whole box was very cool inside. Underneath the ice pack was a cover to protect the beautifully decorative box which held the cake. Everything was very tightly packed and kept the cake very cold. The cake itself looked like it was just made. I chose to freeze my cake and save it for the next week.

Now for the big question, "How did it taste"? "FANTASTIC". I loved the cake. It was so rich and fresh tasting. My kids would have eaten the whole cake if I would have let them, but they had to share with mom :0) Even the plaque which said, "Happy Easter" was edible and made from imported Belgian chocolate.

Operation: Birthday Cake
I was really impressed that Bake Me A Wish had made a way possible to send a few of their selected cakes to soldiers overseas. I have both a brother and sister-in-law who are in the military and air-force, living overseas. Bake Me A Wish also donates 5% of it's online revenue to this cause. You can learn more about Operation: Birthday Cake at their site.
